We are so happy to announce that our very own Molly Marus-Quinley is now offering Neuro-affirming Autism and ADHD Assessments for adults!
Did you know that adult diagnoses of autism and ADHD have skyrocketed since 2011? And no, it is not because we suddenly have more neurodivergent adults. Rather, our understanding of neurodivergence has expanded and improved, capturing a community of individuals that have previously gone unrecognized. The road to receiving an autism or ADHD diagnosis later in life can be challenging, but it does not need to be disempowering. At Neurodiversity Empowerment Services, we want to be able to provide you with assessments that are not built to tell you what is “wrong”, but rather to help you better understand your mind and experiences. We want to help figure out how we can make this world work FOR you, not against you.

Session 1: Intake and history - getting the lay of the land (60-90 minutes)
Session 2: Clinical assessment administered (1-2 hours)
Additional time may be needed to discuss outcomes. What came up in the assessment? How do we interpret your outcomes? Official report writing.
What do I walk away with?
A written diagnostic report from Molly.
Continuing work with Molly on an individual basis or help transitioning to another therapist if desired.
Situational additions including skills teaching and accommodation letters

If you are questioning which assessment option to go with, we will typically recommend the combined option. Research shows a significant and consistent overlap between ADHD and Autism. For those of us who have spent our whole lives masking and adapting to the world around us, one diagnosis may show up more in outward presentation than the other. This can make it difficult to really untangle where our experiences are coming from. Even for those who feel confident that they lean towards one specific neurotype, when resources allow, we strongly suggest the combined option.

Depending on the assessment and its complexity, the entirety costs between $800-$1,495.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept insurance for assessments. All assessments are self-pay only, with payment due at time of service. Payment plans may be considered when needed.
